A mother-and-daughter farm: Martha sows and grows, Jess picks and arranges. Chemical-free, foam-free, nothing flown in: around forty weddings leave this ground each year, and no two are the same.

Garden-gathered, and just a little wild.

We don't do stiff bouquets of perfect roses, and our couples wouldn't ask. Homegrown flowers carry colours, shapes and textures a wholesaler's box never will: seasonal, fun and funky, cut at their moment.

A mother, a daughter, and two acres in Ballyfern.

Martha sows and grows; her daughter Jess picks, arranges and runs the business. What began in the first lockdown of March 2020 (one polytunnel, put up by Jess's husband Kenny) is now meadows, raised beds and four and a half tunnels of chemical-free flowers in the middle of our village.

Ours is the third trade on this ground: first the forge, then the village post office, now the flower farm. The studio is a converted horse stable, the purple studio, and everything leaves it arranged by hand.

Martha's own mother farmed flowers before us, and Jess's daughter Emily presses the wedding keepsakes: a third generation, at her own little press.
